Founder and Director

Being a qualified Accountant with a strong commercial background, Mark is well placed to manage the finances and project funding requirements.

Mark is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a BA (Hons) Management degree.

In his earlier career Mark held senior finance and commercial roles at Anglo American, Shop Direct and Phones 4u.

His most recent role was as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating at Sofology. He led the turnaround and subsequent growth of the business from £102m to £180m turnover, raising private equity investment to support growth before leading the sale of the business to DFS Plc in 2017.

With over two decades of experience in the electrical industry and over a decade of expertise in the property sector, today Mark is passionate about delivering premium services and guiding others with knowledge and foresight.

His professional career began in 1996 with an apprenticeship in electrical installations followed by an HNC and subsequent HND in Building Services.

In 2003 he took the leap from employee to self-employed, and founded Full Circuit Electrical.

Having purchased his first buy to let in 2000, the past 19 years have seen him build a solid portfolio of investment properties throughout the UK.

Nearly two decades later and having gained comprehensive expertise with HMOs, serviced accommodation units, BTLs and commercial conversions, the establishment of the Wasley Wood group of companies was a natural progression.
